Director's Note

New musicals are filled with moments of joy, tears, hiccups and triumph. The authors reimagined the 2009 Australian animated film and turned it into a heartfelt musical that was given its world premiere at Theatre Calgary. This production gave the authors a deep insight into what worked and what didn’t, and they were able to take those awakenings and explore a new production at Theatre Linz in Austria.
