Director's Note

Aside from directing at Canada’s renowned Stratford Festival, I was blessed to have collaborated with a stellar group of artists on this gem of a musical revue celebrating the songs of Jacques Brel. A highlight of the experience was working with the incomparable Brent Carver. He seemed to me to be a performer born somewhat not of this world (in the best sense). Brent was a sensitive and powerful artist whose creative instincts never ceased to amaze me.
